His full name is Christian Charles Philip Bale, he is british and raised in 4 places, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, Wales, and UK and was born on January 30 1974. He is an actor and father/dad with 2 children. He auditioned to play Robin in Batman Forever and then auditioned to be Batman but lost to Chris O'Donnell. After they finished making the movie Machinist he won the part of being Batman so he thought it was a good idea to bulk up to be like the actual Batman because thats who he is playing and only had 6 months he said he couldnt do it and that he couldnt even do one push up the first day. At first in stead of loosing weight he gained 100 lb and went from 130 to 230 then by the end of the 6 months his weight was 190 so as playing batman (strong and healthy) he was some fat guy in a strong mans costume. He repeated the role of batman in The Dark Night. He did it again but in The Dark Night Rises.
